I thought I’d try something different tonight. I have never have a problem getting my daughter to sleep during her day time nap but a lot of times at night she sits up and just won’t go to sleep. I wondered if I recreated the light (the best I could without the actual light being on in the room) maybe she would feel more comfortable. This is what I did. And it worked like a charm.
*****READ*****PLEASE only do this if you are 100% sure it’s safe. I used a very small lamp with small wattage. There is nothing hanging in the closet or anything that could possibly fall onto it. It is a large open space with plenty of breathing room. (See ‘inside’ photo). I’m sure this can be done with one of those portable round push lights instead, which I will look into doing myself.
INSIDE the CLOSET
Punkin’s closet has not yet been painted and fabbed since we moved in. This is plainly just to show you the inside arrangement of the dresser and lamp. (Minus all the stuff in there.)
